The final approach!

Bob & I had dinner in Milwaukee last night after our various appointments. We chose a coupon from the entertainment book and they had buy one, get one drink offer too. Our chicken enchiladas and Miller lites were great! The restaurant is directly across from the airport and has a cute little plane on the roof!

Lost in Chicago

Just got back from the airport (Midway) and lunch at the famous Carson's for ribs or slabs of cow (Whichever you prefer). Getting back on the road took us on a slight detour to Randolf St. to a curious warehouse or food suppliers area. The Chicago Chocolate Company seems to have a store there so we parked right in front (thanks to not being afreid to cross 2 lanes of traffic on a one -way!) Inside we tasted some great free samples on the counter and left with bags of chocolate for dessert at my sister-in-laws this evening. Can't wait! http://chicagochocolate.com/

My first visit to a hot tub!

Just to let you know...there are no actual photos of the event!

A friend invited us over to use his hot tub....he was going to be gone and thought we might enjoy the relaxation. So we basically broke into his house and took our clothes off. Bob had taken the cover off and the steam from the 104 degree water was melting the lightly falling snow as it approached the water. I'm not sure how long we were in the tub...maybe an hour? We played with the jets and the buttons and kept an eye out for the neighbors. On the way home we picked up some Chinese food and I'd have to say that the next time i'm bringing my pj's. It was very warm and relaxing on a snowy night but I was ready for bed afterwards. It was like taking a sleeping pill.
