Merry Christmas!

It is early on Christmas Eve morning and I have already received the best gifts. The kids are all here for the holiday. Brad and Kristi are dividing their time between Waukesha and Racine, and Nick and Michael are tucked snug in their beds. Visions of sugarplums for sure! Yesterday we did a Kewpees lunch with some of the Johnsons and who walked in but Sam & Kevin. A little bit of hometown heaven!

So today we get to share some time with all these wonderful people. Happy birthday Jesus!

Graduation Day!

Michael has graduated from Stevens Point earning a BFA. It has been an exciting week for us. Parents.....they are so
sentimental! We had many friends and family at the ceremony and are planning a big celebration at home on the 27th! Stop by and congratulate the kid. He will be off to Cincinnati in a few days to begin the job search. Thea is in graduate school there already. Beer's inthe fridge!

Snow Day!

At 5:18 this morning, Unified closed all the schools so we could enjoy the 14.5 inches of snow that fell throughout the morning.
It is my hope that some year before I retire we get more than 2 snow days for a year. You see, we have to make up the first 2 (maybe 3) then after that they are free. So I say lets' go for 6!
